Sociedad Agroindustrial del Valle, Ltda. (SAIV), the company which makes the Casa Real product line was founded in 1981 by Don. Luis Granier Ballivián and his family. Don. Luis comes from a family of rich wine and singani making tradition, dating back three generations to 1925 when Don. Julio Ortiz Linares began the first industrial distilling operation in Bolivia in the valley of Cintí near
Tarija.
This long history of distilling experience allowed Casa Real to quickly establish itself as Bolivia's premier Singani. Our complete product line includes various types of singani and wine. The culmination of our singani making experience is the Singani Anerversario, specially produced to celebrate SAIV's fifteenth
birthday.

Over the years, the vineyard has grown. Our plantations in the Santa Ana region of Tarija's Central Valley now cover 120 hectares (75 acres), much of which is irrigated by a modern, electronically monitored drip irrigations system.
Nowadays, our cellars have a capacity of nearly 5 million liters (about 1,316,000 gallons) Every year, one million, eight hundred thousand bottles of Singani and forty thousand bottles of wine are produced at the Santa Ana facility. Casa Real products are the preferred Singanis in Bolivia and are exported for discriminating consumers
worldwide.

To continue it's
leadership, SAIV is constantly improving the Casa Real Product line. A clear example is Ginseng Singani a brand new product for 1998. A unique blend of traditional bolivian spirits and the healing and invigorating power of ginseng, this special Singani blend is not available from any other Singani
producer. |
